About RoboCup Singapore National Committee

RoboCup is an international scientific initiative with the goal to advance the state of the art of intelligent robots. When established in 1997, the original mission was to field a team of robots capable of winning against the human soccer World Cup champions by 2050.

RoboCup has always been a frontier of Robotics and AI research and education. In addition to RoboCupSoccer, RoboCup@Home focuses on robotics solutions for human society; RoboCupRescue provides innovative robotic solutions to search and rescue; RoboCupIndustrial defines a common framework for industry inspired application leagues within RoboCup; RoboCupJunior is an international educational programme which has successfully engaged thousands of students to the Robotics, AI, STEM and ICT fields.

RoboCup Singapore National Committee (RoboCupSG) was established in 2008. It is a RoboCup regional committee representing the RoboCup Federation coordinating RoboCup activities in Singapore and its region.
